The Build
The MX Master 4 feels overbuilt in the best way. The materials are dense, the scroll wheel has mechanical precision, and nothing flexes or rattles. It's the kind of object that makes cheap peripherals feel embarrassing. Buy it once, use it for the next five years.
The Ergonomics
The shape is the thing that keeps people on this mouse for years. It's built for a full hand grip, with a thumb rest that actually supports your hand instead of just existing. Sessions that used to end with wrist fatigue don't anymore. It's one of those things you don't notice until you go back to something cheaper and immediately feel the difference.
The Software
Logi Options+ used to be the weak point. It's not anymore. App-specific profiles mean the buttons do different things in Figma than they do in Chrome — and once you've set it up, you stop thinking about it. The customization goes deep enough to be genuinely useful without requiring you to become a power user to get value from it.
