The Sony A7R VI is the camera I'd recommend to anyone serious about photography or video who doesn't want to compromise. 61 megapixels sounds like overkill until you start cropping into shots and realizing you're throwing away half the frame and still have a usable image.
The autofocus is genuinely impressive — subject tracking that just works, even in difficult lighting. I've shot everything from fast-moving subjects to studio work with this body and it handles both without complaint.
Paired with a good G Master lens this is a professional toolkit that will outlast most of the gear on this page.
